Revista Ciencias Biomédicas, is a journal that is refereed under the double blind modality, of quarterly publication, published by the University of Cartagena, Colombia, since 2010. Its aim is to promote with standards of excellence the research, scientific and intellectual production of the national and international academic community in the field of Medical Sciences and Health, (Basic Medicine, Clinical Medicine, Health Sciences, Health Biotechnology and Other Medical Sciences) through the publication of articles resulting from research, reflections and revisions on topics related to its area of knowledge.
