Resumen
La infección urinaria es la complicación infecciosa más frecuente en el embarazo. El objetivo es realizar una revisión de la evidencia sobre la efectividad, seguridad y costo efectividad de los productos del arándano en la prevención de infección urinaria en el embarazo. Los estudios sugieren un potencial efecto protector de los productos del arándano contra la infección urinaria en el embarazo y no se ha documentado evidencia de peligro o contraindicación en la gestación o la lactancia. El costo efectividad de los productos del arándano en el embarazo, no ha sido evaluado. Rev.cienc. biomed.2011; 2 (2): 276-280
