ABSTRACT

In this article a theoretical development that explains the findings of all research performed around the world and particularly utilizing the results of the bachelor degree project undertaken by the engineers Edwin Tuiran and Tomas Pereira in 2000 as a partial requirement to obtain the degree in the Civil Engineering Department at the University of Cartagena.

KEYWORDS: Angle of internal friction, Bearing capacity, Shear Strength, Soil properties, Lineal regression.
